Endemannus was waiting for hte heroes when they arrived on the mysterious island off the coast of the Blood Wood that Sephare directed them to.
Hoping they were there to relieve his eternal vigil, Endemannus shared the Power of Time with the heroes, allowing them to act against the ancient, ages-old evil that has returned to assault The Dragon Empire. Mystery still surrounds the others that Endemannus first arrived with, and his story left more questions, but now the heroes have a small part of the power that once fuelled much of the magic in a previous age.
