Guzman Gleb is a human fighter with half-orc traits. (In essence, because half-orcs are uncommon in Zahara, I’m playing a human-like a half-orc). His quick backstory:
Guzman would tell you that for the most part, he has been a slave to his own life. By anyone’s standard, he has suffered. By 10 his feet had endured more relentless travel than the histories of entire races, against his will. In an act that was deemed betrayal, his parents, uncle, and aunt and Guzman‘s cousin left their tribe in search of better fortune, but found only hardship. By 13, his parents were dead from an encounter with raiders. Starving and pitiful, the rest of the “family” returned to their tribe to plea for mercy. His uncle was tortured to death. After being forced to watch, Guzman, his aunt, and his cousin were cast out into the desert. For months they trudged. His aunt did not last long. His cousin grew resentful of the mistakes of Guzman‘s parents and escaped during the night. Shaking, barely alive, and alone, Guzman found a city.
Aunty, then, found Guzman. Now, he is determined to build a name for himself, both literally (as he will remind you), and figuratively. And a life, to replace the one that was stolen from him. In the meantime, he survives by committing disgraceful acts of violence for money that he is ashamed to say he sometimes enjoys.
Alignment: True neutral. (“True neutral characters are concerned with their own well-being and that of the group or organization which aids them. They may behave in a good manner to those that they consider friends and allies, but will only act maliciously against those who have tried to injure them in some way. For the rest, they do not care.”)
Ideals: A better life; money; a tribe
Flaws: Doesn’t know what a better life looks like; Youthful arrogance; Violence is the only way he knows how to solve problems
