The Temple of Azaltin

Orphans travel into the temple; fighting chimaera, discovering Nerim the hermit and the black idol that possesses and forces them to try and get others to become possessed as well.

The Jann have never gone in, and bluster about it. Al-Anwar became abandoned for a reason, but the Jann aren’t interested in tempting fate.

The strange hermit lives in the ruins as long as the Jann have been there, and he seems strangely unaffected by all that is going on; even if there IS a magical curse. One old man alone in the ruins SHOULD be dead, but he seems to be alive, so there’s something’s strange about him.
