Several weeks had passed, with the heroes returning to Nyrond. Grier and Riyan also accompanied them, wishing to see lands outside their own. They also wished to be present for the marriage of Tempus to Tamarina, a joyous occasion for all involved.

However, their time of peace was soon cut short; one night both Tanamier and Inkaneesta received terrible dreams of people – followers even – trapped in Almor in broken buildings while shadowy things prowled on the edges.
